Privacy Policy

OopsMemo is a note-taking app made by Henal Communications in the Republic of Korea. This policy explains what the app and this website do with data. The short version: your notes stay on your phone.

Your notes and photos

Notes, photos, categories, settings and your PIN are stored only on your device, inside the app's private storage. We don't collect them, we can't see them, and they are never sent to our servers. Backup files you export are created on your device and go only where you choose to send them.

Advertising

The free version shows one banner ad served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address and information about how ads are viewed and tapped, under Google's Privacy Policy. Where the law requires it, the app asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown. You can reset your advertising ID or turn off ad personalization in your Android settings. Pro users don't see ads.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Google Play. We never receive your card or payment details. To unlock Pro, the app receives a purchase confirmation from Google Play, and may send the purchase token to our server only to verify it with Google. It is not linked to your name, email address or notes.

Permissions

The app only reads the photos you choose to attach. It doesn't access your location, contacts or microphone.

Children

OopsMemo is not directed to children under 13.

Deleting your data

Your notes live only on your device, so uninstalling the app deletes them. We hold no personal data about you to delete.

This website

oopsmemo.com uses no cookies, analytics or third-party trackers. Your language and theme choices are stored only in your browser.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
